Your role:

Are you a sharp evaluator of (model) risk governance? Do you know how to implement and enforce model risk governance? We’re looking for someone like that to:

– lead the operation of model risk governance policies and processes

– deliver governance assessments, conclusions and key messages to senior management, including input from various stakeholders to arrive at practical and sustainable solutions

– engage also with local model risk management and control to monitor any changes in regulatory standards, processes, authorities and respective implementation

– stay up on regulatory requirements and trends

Your team:

You’ll be working in the Model Risk Appetite & Oversight team in Zurich. We maintain the firm's model inventory, design and roll out inventory related processes, support the Senior Management in ensuring model risk oversight via respective governance committees and maintain the firm's model risk governance framework.

Your expertise:

You have:

– a university degree in finance, economics, business administration or numerical discipline

– at least 10 years of experience in the financial industry, preferably in model risk management or control, audit or compliance

– strong analytical skills, able to quickly understand complex processes, identify risks and inadequacies in procedures, as well as propose practical and sustainable solutions

You are:

– able to work independently as well as experienced in supervising, leading and motivating a small team in the maintenance and continuous amendment of global and local governance frameworks

– fluent in English
