UBS Financial Services Recovery & Resolution Planning specialist - Global Resolution Strategy in Zürich, Switzerland
Are you a multitasker? Are you solid as a rock when you’re juggling a lot of projects? We're looking for someone like this to play a key role in shaping UBS’s Global Resolution Strategy (GRS) which will be submitted and presented to the Swiss regulator FINMA, the Swiss National Bank as well as the key UK and US regulators and central banks. The GRS sets out how UBS would be restructured if all recovery options fail to restore the financial viability of the firm. The audience of the GRS is firm's senior management / BoD and the key regulators relevant to UBS. This is a very high profile analytical role which will provide an overview of all recovery and resolution planning activities hence an opportunity to get to know different areas of RRP and the firm. The role is an excellent basis for career growth and advancement within UBS.
In this position you will
• Support the development and production of the Group Resolution Strategy, drive coordination of its annual update and submission, identify gaps and implement improvements and ensure a high quality product is delivered. You will be drafting key sections of the plan in a concise manner and following a thorough analysis.
• Liaise with the rest of the RRP team and other teams within the bank (e.g. Business Divisions, Treasury, Asset and Liability Management, Regulatory & Legal, Finance) to develop a consistent approach for the GRS. The role will involve regular interaction with stakeholders and working with them to achieve the desired outcome.
• Track the development of recovery and resolution capabilities and clearly set out how these will be used in a resolution scenario. The role will also involve support in modelling resolution scenarios that are used to demonstrate the effectiveness of the GRS.
