support the month end close coordination for the region Switzerland
manage the ledger control process and perform Finance IT release testing for the Investment Banking aligned Swiss entities
analyse and follow up on incidents in daily and month end activities including all related interfaces ensuring the integrity of the banks accounting processes in conformance with accounting policy and given timelines
support analysis of business processes and requirements, document change requests, working closely with IT during realisation phase, covering tests and assisting implementation into production of underlying systems
provide timely, action-oriented analysis and advice, supporting the function in making sound decisions
manage the transition process by off-shoring and supervision of off-shore activities

You’ll be working in the Swiss Close Coordination / GGL Control Group team which interacts as interface between Product and Legal Entity Controllers. We are based in Zurich, oversee and coordinate all closing activities related to the Swiss entities and represent the region within the Global Close process. We also manage the ledger integrity and timely resolve any outstanding data quality issues prior closing the books.
Your experience and skills:
up to 5 years of Finance experience, preferably in the financial services sector
very strong analytical skills and attention to detail
good knowledge of using MS Excel
excellent interpersonal and communication skills (able to interact directly with stakeholders with minimal supervision and deal with senior members of staff)
very strong writing skills
university degree in Finance/Economics or a technical subject (such as Engineering, Sciences, Mathematics etc.)
fluency in English (both written and spoken)
passionate about supporting our consumers and the continuous development of the relevant processes
a key team player with people management potential to deputize team head
a goal oriented person with the high level of initiative
excellent in time management and organizational skills
