designing and implementing innovative data analytics solutions such as dynamic risk dashboards
finding new ways to identify risk patterns
establishing relationships with business stakeholders to identify and address Business Risk Management relevant risk areas in the organization
actively collaborating with other teams and Subject Matter Experts to identify relevant data sources, help develop value-add assessments and properly measure level of risk
supporting the development of new innovation technologies such as machine learning and automation/robotics

Business Risk Management UBS Switzerland (BRM UBS CH) supports front units and a variety of stakeholders in the implementation and maintenance of business risk analysis and controls. Measures for mitigating risk are defined, taken up in the competent bodies and implemented.
The Data Analytics, Solutions and Reporting Team is part of BRM UBS CH and responsible for analysis, data sourcing, operation and further development of BRM applications and reporting in connection with the controls to be implemented. Besides supporting diverse stakeholders, the team primarily assists teams of subject-matter experts of different risk taxonomies.
Your experience and skills:
a university degree, preferably in an analytical field (Math, Statistics, Physics, Finance or IT)
relevant work experience of 1-3 years related to the above mentioned responsibilities
strong analytical and problem-solving skills
deep understanding of Microsoft tools such as Excel and Access
expertise in visualizing data using Tableau, Microsoft BI or similar tools
a good understanding of SQL and basic knowledge in several data analytics tools such as R, Python, SAS
good communication and presentation skills
knowledge of WM and P&C data and business processes is desirable
project management skills and a sound knowledge of WM and P&C data and business processes
fluent in English
an analytic thinker who enjoys unveiling and reasoning about dependencies in complex datasets
able to interact well with all levels of employees within a global organization
experienced in working in international business environment, preferably at financial services company
