UBS Financial Services WAC Assistant Operations Manger in Weehawken, New Jersey

Your role:

Are you a confident decision maker and problem solver? Do you know how to provide support so that things run smoothly? We’re looking for someone like that who can:

–\tServe as deputy to the Operations Manager to assist in managing branch operations

–\tEscalate client issues and complaints on operational matters to higher-level management, when necessary

–\tCommunicate and implement firm operational guidelines and policies to Support Staff

–\tMonitor and manage operational costs

–\tOversee the branch operational risk and audit process

–\tReview and approve funds received and disbursed

–\tOversee securities received and disbursed

–\tEnsure operational excellence and solve any issues that arise

–\tCoach and educate all employees on operational policies and procedures and the UBS platform

–\tTrain and manage operational support staff

–\tAssist and make recommendations in hiring, promoting, disciplining and terminating Support Staff

–\tImplement service excellence standards, including coaching and educating operational Support Staff on the Client Experience best practices and suitability

–\tSupport and drive strategic firm initiatives

You’ll be part of the Branch Operations team and working with Financial Advisors and Client Service Associates within the Wealth Advice Center. You will play a critical role in ensuring operational policy and procedure adherence and understanding

Your expertise:

You have:

–\t1-3 years experience with a leading financial institution

–\tSeries 7, 66, 9 and 10

–\tHigh School Diploma or equivalent required; College Degree recommended

You are:

–\tcomfortable working independently, as well as in a team-oriented, collaborative environment

–\tadaptable, with strong interpersonal skills

–\ta confident decision-maker, highly organized and detail oriented

–\texcellent verbal and written communication skills
