UBS Financial Services Lead - Americas Finance Change in Weehawken, New Jersey

We are looking for a Regional Finance Change lead to direct Finance and Treasury change efforts in the Americas for the Regional CFO.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
engaging with leaders from the regional Finance teams to understand emerging problems and drivers of change.
being a part of the project initiation, planning, budgeting and business case development, challenging for efficiency and \"connecting the dots\" across various initiatives.
working with partners from our technology groups to understand solutions, the timelines for implementation and to identify any delivery risks across the portfolio.
coordinating the regional change portfolio, ensuring implementation to meet objectives and surfacing prioritization calls to relevant decision makers
initiating discussions around strategic solutions for the region as appropriate
supporting the development of an innovative management capability, to promote information flow, drive project discipline and support senior Finance and Treasury management with assessment of risk, progress and business benefit.
providing effective meeting governance: establish agenda, track open issues, document decisions and key points of discussion.
partnering with other change leads around the globe to understand regional impacts, including resource capacity, and ensuring regional representation in solution development and execution.

You will be the Regional Finance Change lead. You will be part of the Americas CFO organization; part of Group Finance within the Corporate Center division of UBS. The role is located in Weehawken, NJ. The Americas CFO group consists of the regional business partnering, business and change management, Integrated Middle Office Financial Controlling service delivery and the Comprehensive Capital and Analysis Review teams. This role reports into the Americas Chief of Staff.
Your experience and skills:
demonstrated leadership capability and ability to strategize and execute disparate projects efficiently
several years of experience as a business analyst, project manager, PMO or business manager
preferably worked in a financial services firm in a project capacity or in a consulting firm
demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
additional training in project disciplines, is a plus
a graduate with finance, economics or arts qualifications, coupled with strong written and verbal communication skills.
comfortable working autonomously, able to see and address potential lagging points and plan meeting updates and agendas accordingly to gain timely decisions as needed
confident and someone who embraces collaboration, constructive challenge and shows integrity
comfortable engaging across a wide and diverse community of varying seniority and can proactively build trusted relationships quickly
naturally organized, with a passion for efficiency, precision and driving effective management
quick to understand management decision-making needs – and at transforming information into communication to support them
