Your role:

Production Support Analyst:

  • be responsible for managing the day-to-day production support of Wealth Management Americas suite of applications

  • ensure production support execution aligned to existing ITIL framework and is in accordance global UBS standards, policies and procedures

  • act as the immediate escalation point for all customers, stakeholders and IT management for the services provided

  • be responsible for incident management, problem management and request fulfillment management

  • partner with and coordinate deliverables across teams globally

  • uphold high standards for timely issue resolution

  • possess strong analytical, problem-solving and synthesizing skills

Your team:

You'll be working in the Business Application Support (BAS) team in Pune, India and partner with central teams globally to manage the front-to-back incident management process. You will drive for reduction in Incident volumes through the process of problem management. You will help to reduce risk to production by preventing recurring incidents through the implementation of permanent fixes and improving controls. You will also proactively identify and eliminate demand management themes and trends through the implementation of controls, standards and best practices.

Our team supports more than 100 WMA software solutions and ensures production stability based on the SLA's and KPI's for each of the applications under our supervision.

Your experience and skills:

• Demonstrable experience in IT management with control / governance focus

• In-depth knowledge incident and problem management practices

• Experience in the Finance or Trading Industry

• A proven track record of collaborating in matrix environments

• Solid technical presentation skills

• Highly refined and professional in verbal and written communications

• Experienced in stakeholder engagement and management

• Operating in a global team environment

• Preferable a Bachelor's degree in business related area

• ITIL qualified & proficient in using Service Now

• Evidence of being able to work in a dynamic and stressful environment

Extensive Knowledge in Java, Oracle, Sybase, Fix protocol, Unix, Linux, Smooks, ServiceMix, and a few other
