Application Support Specialist responsible for managing Level 2 production support of New Wealth

Management Americas applications including but not limited to Capital Markets portfolio.

The individual will ensure production support execution aligned to existing ITIL framework

and is in accordance global UBS standards, policies and procedures.

You’ll be working in the WMA BAS (Business Application Support) team in Weehawken, NJ. We are aligned to UBS WMA business where the approach is based on the trusted relationship of our Financial Advisors and their clients. Our experienced Advisors are committed to understanding clients’ needs and delivering insightful, informed advice to help them realize their dreams.

Your experience and skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in IT and Finance

  • 5+ years of experience in IT support role within Financial services industry

  • extensive Knowledge and to be a hand-on in Distributed technologies Java, SQL, Oracle, QuickFixforJ, FIX protocol, Unix, Linux, MQ, Autosys, Ribbon, Fuse Fabric, Drools, Tomcat, Apache Camel, CXF, JMS, ExtJS, InfiniSpan, Webservice, TCP, ftp, ServiceMix, SMOOKS

  • in-depth knowledge and understanding of Incident and Problem Management practices, skills and tools.

  • ITIL training and certification preferred

You are: - highly organized, a motivated self-starter and able to quickly take ownership of the role.

  • able to coordinate activities of geographically dispersed teams (offshore management).

  • self-driven with the ability to manage and prioritize

  • a strong team player, ability to build relationships from both a business and technical point of view
