•Be the first point of contact for assigned clients and their administrators
•Develop a deep understanding of assigned clients including but not limited to their model, systems and their requirements
•Professional and courteous communication at all times, representing UBS to required standards
•Follow any issues through to resolution liaising with internal parties as well as third party service providers as required
•Appropriate escalation of risk items and understanding of the UBS risk framework and key indicators
•Client calls/visits including publishing written agendas, post meeting minutes and outstanding action items, regular reporting of progress and follow up actions

You'll be working in the Execution & Clearing Services (ECS) team within the Platform Solutions Group (PSG). Your role offers the opportunity to further develop your knowledge and skills in the retail broking space. We are a team of highly motivated Account Managers that have a wide remit of responsibilities including client executions, bookings, trade confirmation and settlement, corporate actions as well as onboarding & invoicing clients. You will deal with a range of internal stakeholders such as Project Managers, Business Analysts and Operations staff as well as key contacts at our clients and their administrators.
Your experience and skills:
•a university degree
•previous experience in retail stockbroking
•general knowledge of middle and back office operations, including bookings, confirmations, settlements and corporate actions
•great computer skills with preferred systems knowledge: GBST Shares, Palion DCA, Iress/IOS, Omgeo CTM
•adaptable, with strong interpersonal skills
•able to work under pressure (you secretly love deadlines)
•an analytic thinker, with the ability to provide practical solutions
