– establish and operate effective project governance, ensuring appropriate representation from key stakeholders

– organize requirements-gathering activities using a variety of internal and external data and conduct stakeholder interviews

– based on requirements, identify set of tasks, activities, dependences and hierarchy of the processes (business processes, sub processes and process components) and draft diagram of the overall process for Process Modeling.

– design pragmatic software solutions to address business problems, while considering the strategic future state model

– act as the primary contact between the business users and technology team before, during and after the project implementations.

– assist in quality control and project management

You’ll be working in the Compliance & Operational Risk Control IT team based in Stamford, CT. Our role is to design and implement innovated IT solutions for the Employee Compliance function which assist in monitoring employee conflicts of interest. We are a global IT team supporting internal clients throughout the world.

Your experience and skills:

You have:

– experience working on design and development of enterprise software in a distributed environment within the financial services industry - preferably in investment banking and compliance related projects

– a good understanding of capital markets and knowledge of various asset classes like Equities, Fixed Income, FX and their derivative products

– experience in applying business analysis techniques and the ability to interpret a set of requirements (you know what they really want)

– an robust understanding of the software development lifecycle

– experience in collecting and documenting process modeling of Business Process Management (BPM) processes.

– strong analytical, problem-solving and synthesizing skills

– experience in querying databases using SQL and documenting the analyzed results

– a solid understanding of processes associated with Compliance in banking, and regulatory issues

– the ability to write clear, concise and thorough requirements and functional design documentation to a professional standard

– well-developed business communication skills – both written and verbal with an ability to tailor style to the audience
