work within the global middleware services organization to provide all levels of support for Business Objects (BO) for day to day support of production and UAT/development environments.
administer, monitor and support different BO XI3 installations in clustered mode on Windows and Linux,
troubleshoot and resolve the issues faced by end users and application teams – related to BO, webservers, SSO using Siteminder etc, install/upgrade of BO new versions/fixpacks and post-installation configurations
set up new projects in BOXI3, security and server management and user administration
test the new versions of SAP BO and analyze its use/impact with respect to the current versions, content migration using Import Wizard, deployment of Web apps in Apache/tomcat and Websphere web servers and Single Sign On (SSO)

You will be part of 24/7 Global Middleware Service Delivery team and support day to day operations through monitoring, Chat, incidents, Service Requests & Change requests. We provide Business Objects support for the bank globally and we integrate closely with other partner teams such as unix, networks, wintel, Database and storage. Our goal is to ensure operational stability in a global environment while maintaining leading edge Business Object tools.
Your experience and skills:
at least 3+ years' experience and a university degree in computer science, management information systems or professional certifications or equivalent work experience in an Information Technology field.
relevant experience in Business Objects XI3 administration, knowledge in BOXI3 Security, Architecture, Single-SSO, Webservers
strong knowledge in Windows, Solaris 10 & RHEL 5.x+, Cluster environments & knowledge of basic server administration (CPU/Memory)
worked in large environment supporting BO technologies
experience in Scripting/Programming languages like Power
familiar with ITIL Concepts, Oracle DB and SQL commands
