UBS Financial Services Sales Head in Shanghai, China
Do you enjoy the challenge of building a team in China? The candidate will represent UBS (China) Limited Shanghai Branch, and act as an ambassador for UBS’s one firm approach externally and internally. Also, the candidate will assist the President and the Shanghai Branch Manager in executing the business strategy of UBS (China) Limited and in growing the business of the Branch.
We are looking for a leader who can:
•\tlead a team and empower his/her Client Advisors to provide their clients with appropriate solutions based on the clients' needs, goals, and objectives
•\tregularly review sales plan performance against the Branch ambition
•\tdemonstrate and support a sales culture with an effective prospecting, sales and acquisition process
•\tregularly assess team members’ strengths and development opportunities to address performance management issues
•\tprovide candidate assessments to build and grow a strong team aligned with overall business strategy, and drive the implementation of appropriate training and development measures
•\tensure that the activities of the Branch comply with all relevant laws and regulations as well as internal policies and standards
You will be responsible for leading inspiring and guiding the team to build branch capabilities, driving client acquisition and revenue generation by promoting UBS's brand and products & services.
You will also act as a role model, foster collaboration among the team and will also be responsible for managing the reputation risks for the organization.

Your experience and skills:
You should have:
•\tyears of professional experience as a successful advisor to clients, combined with extensive product and investment knowledge
•\tbusiness development experience and capabilities
•\tgood analytical skills and willingness to make hard decisions
•\tprofound knowledge of the financial industry
•\texcellent relationship management capabilities
•\thave global/regional experience and have a strong understanding of the domestic markets;
•\tMBA or Bachelor’s Degree from a reputable university
•\tproficiency in Putonghua
•\ta strong leader and have the drive to take business forwards.
•\tambitious in your career development
•\tagile in dealing with cultural and linguistic diversity
