UBS Financial Services DFAST CCAR Analyst in Salt Lake City, Utah

Your role:

The Finance DFAST/CCAR Associate is responsible for leading the preparation of regulatory stress tests for financial planning and submission. The role will interface with the CCAR project managers, finance and risk teams, subject matter experts, business leaders and senior levels of management across the organization.

This is a fast paced environment where accuracy is critical and deadlines are tight. We are looking for a motivated individual who has excellent program management, analytical and interpersonal skills. Financial industry knowledge is a must.

We are looking for someone like you to:

•Support for preparation and submission of regulatory stress test filings and analysis of results (Finance DFAST/CCAR)

•Collaboration with Finance DFAST Manager and CCAR team to support quarterly stress testing runs and collaborate with DFAST risk lead.

•Ensure reconciliation of finance and accounting data and regulatory ratios generated are accurate and valid

•Liaise with the regulators, internal audit, external consultants and various groups both within Bank USA and the Intermediate Holding Company

•Remediation of FDIC, FED and Internal Audit recommendations assigned to Finance

•Manage and maintain finance stress testing policies and procedures

•Assist in the generation of three year baseline forecasts for strategic planning and budgeting

•Collaborate with Bank Business heads to review/challenge business forecasting models

•Preparation and presentation of materials/stress testing results for banking products and obtain signoffs from first line business on financial forecasts.

•Review and assess business assumptions for business volume/yield forecasting models with first line business and ensure controls/reconciliations are in place for finance data used in business forecasting models

•Maintain PPNR forecasting methodologies in collaboration with Bank USA finance DFAST team, including annual enhancements, back testing, documentation and validation.

•Execute PPNR methodologies as part of all stress testing runs

•Refine procedures for PPNR, including controls/reconciliation of data

•Contribute and assist in the implementation of CECL requirements for CCAR/DFAST

•Assist with development of qualitative documentation to support regulatory filings in conjunction with key constituents

•DFAST integration with UBS CCAR work stream to ensure goal congruence with UBS IHC

Your team:

You'll be working as part of the UBS Bank USA Finance DFAST/CCAR team in Salt Lake City. The team is the hub of the stress testing and related regulatory interactions for the Bank, including compilation of legal entity results and analysis, maintenance of PPNR methodologies for quarterly execution, ensuring alignment with affiliates, supporting our partners in the business divisions (Global Wealth Management, Asset Management, Treasury and Risk Control) for both stress testing and baseline forecasts for strategic planning and budgeting, and maintenance of a robust control and procedural framework for quarterly execution runs.

Your experience and skills:

You Have:

•Bachelor’s degree in business management, accounting (preferred) or finance

•2+ of experience in a Bank; prior experience in Finance or Risk Management is desired, particularly in the areas of regulatory reporting, or financial planning and budgeting

•Familiarity with regulatory standards (Dodd-Frank rules) a plus

•p[rior DFAST/CCAR bank experience a plus

•Strong analytical skills and Excellent oral and written communication skills

•Advanced process development and problem-solving skills

You Are:

•Abile to think creatively, adapt to different situations and handle uncertainty

•Proficiency with MS Excel and PowerPoint
