UBS Financial Services Regulatory Reporting Specialist in Nashville, Tennessee

Ensure Completeness, Accuracy and Timeliness (“CAT”) requirements around reporting OTC derivatives to the US and Canada regulators are met by performing monitoring & control activities. This includes daily exceptions management activities, logging and participating in the resolution of issues raised that impact regulatory reporting and ensuring appropriate escalation of items.
Work with other RTR (“Regulatory Transaction Reporting”) stakeholders as well as Client Onboarding and Integrated Middle Office teams to properly address issues raised.
Provide support for ongoing CAT and Direct control testing, performed by our offshore Poland team. Provide ideas and execute on process improvements in the quality assurance area to enhance productivity and efficiency.
Produce materials for and participate in weekly & monthly governance meetings as well as taking required actions noted from these meetings.
Project Management activities – Assisting with end to end support around RTR initiatives including conducting initial impact analysis, tracking for deliverables and following up with management and RTR staff. New initiatives through 2018 may cover both WMA and IB as well as all asset classes including securities.

Your experience and skills:
– A degree in any discipline will be considered, but preferably in Finance / Economics / Business Management.
– Securities background would be advantageous
– Knowledge of investment bank products, trade life cycle, and trade booking models will be a strong advantage.
– Experience in operational risk and control / operations / blue sheets/audit in the financial services industry.
– Escalation awareness

– Excellent communication skills verbally and in writing.
– Team-oriented, while able to complete tasks independently.
– Fluent in English
