You're job will involve working in a team of dedicated software delivery professionals, taking a leading role in the development and evolution of one of the core components. Following the scrum agile delivery methodology, you will become a permanent member of one of our component or feature teams where you will help shape the component software architecture towards the wider target of a leading edge post trade application suite shared globally.
Your experience and skills:
at least 5+ years of proven experience in Java and UI Development
hands on experience on Key Technologies like Java, Spring, Hibernate, JMS, Web Technologies (e.g. HTML5, GWT, Grails, Bootstrap), Build Tools (e.g. Ant / Maven / Gradle / Teamcity / Jenkins).
exposure to RMI, RestAPI, Testing Tools (JBehave / EasyB / Cucumber / Concordion / Mockito / Hamcrest / Assert J) will be a plus.
deep knowledge of working in Agile methodology and building products using Behaviour driven development(BDD) and TDD.
a working knowledge of Oracle or similar RDBMS and Unix/Linux.
good communication and interpersonal skills.
familiar with financial domain like Trade Finance, Accounting, Trade Management , Ledger Management
process oriented and have worked in onshore-offshore model.
committed to the use of engineering practices that support rapid delivery in a fast-paced environment
keen to coach and mentor your peers in improving their development approaches.
