UBS Financial Services Process and Quality Specialist, Global South Asian Desk in London, United Kingdom

Your role:

We are looking for a Process and Quality Specialist (PQS) to join the Global South Asian (GSA) team within the Emerging Markets business based in London.

Responsibilities will include

  • Point of entry for process, tool and risk related topics within the desk

  • Ensure a smooth information flow in and out of the desk on process, tool and risk related topics, act as interface between functional units and the desk

  • Pre-checks, alerts and deficiencies remediation with the DH, CA and CAA (Account opening, Suitability Review, KYC, Pending Items, Risk Reports, etc.)

  • Drive technical on-boarding and coaching of desk new joiners

  • Support the tracking and analysis of operational incidents and implementation of adequate measures

  • Identify and propose process improvements, establish a sound risk & efficiency culture within the desk

Your experience and skills:

We are looking for a highly motivated team player with the following qualities and skills

  • Excellent communication and coordination skills

  • Strong knowledge and experience in front office processes, risk management tasks and tools

  • Experience within the Wealth Management environment, e.g. in a front, process, risk or business management function for at least 2 years

  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills and ability to understand complex front and operational procedures and processes

  • Strong service culture ideally combined with hands-on experience in arranging easy to understand training material and good presentation skills

  • Proactive and self-dependent working style, self-starter with a sense of initiative who demonstrates drive and commitment and the ability to motivate others
