Your role:

Your team:

You’ll be working in the GALM Secured Funding team in London. The Secured Funding IT team is part of the Investment Bank IT function and is responsible for a broad range of applications across Repo Trading, Inventory, Collateral Optimisation and Pricing. Our role is to develop IT applications to meet the immediate and future needs of the GALM business. The Secured Funding team is a talented, mature and supportive global team, distributed amongst UK, US, Poland and APAC with a mixed UBS FTE/vendor outsource model. The team is a complete functional delivery team consisting of developers, business analysts, SMEs, project managers, IT architects, scrum masters and QA.

Your experience and skills:

You have:

–\tPrevious experience working within a banking environment.

–\tGood interpersonal and team working skills

–\tKnowledge of trading, risk management and back-office systems

–\tPrevious experience on collateral management will be beneficial.

–\tDemonstrable experience of business analysis techniques.

–\tDemonstrable success within complex project environments.

–\tProven ability to integrate well into a team and build relationships with senior stakeholders

–\tStrong analytical, problem-solving and synthesizing skills

–\tProven analytical and sceptical mind-set with an ability to develop solutions to technical problems.

–\tAbility to communicate requirements to software developers and application owners.

–\tDemonstrable experience examining and interpreting huge datasets, with knowledge of RDBMS principles and SQL.

–\tDemonstrable understanding of the software development lifecycle and agile methodology.

–\tPrevious experience of working in a regulatory driven change environment.

Responsibilities:\t

–\tSupport the analysis of operating models and assist in mapping target operating model.

–\tEnsure business requirements are captured, and when appropriate, adequately communicated to stakeholders.

–\tWorking closely with stakeholders and SMEs' to identify and analyse business process and coordinate with developer for solution delivery.

–\tFacilitating collaborative workshops with SMEs' to capture business processes.

–\tDocumenting processes with clearly developed process maps and process description according to defined standards.

You are:

–\tEducated to degree level

–\tpassionate about supporting the development of IT systems and applications

–\ttechnically savvy with an appreciation for IT capability

–\tadaptable, able to work across cross functional teams and functions

–\tfluent in English
