We're looking for someone like that who can help to deliver the EMEA Community Affairs programme of community investment by:
management and execution of internal and external comms relating to the CA programme, including planning, execution, integration with the business, engagement and reporting
supporting the organisation and execution of CA events
supporting other areas of the programme and senior EMEA team members in their projects as required, which may include e.g.
o Collation and analysis of data to support Impact Measurement framework: targets; inputs, outputs, impact
o CA partnership management and process from application, due diligence, through approval to management, assessment and reporting
o Employee Volunteering management and process from target-setting, planning and delivering activities, promotion, delivery, assessment and reporting
o Financial management and reporting including allocation process, due diligence, disbursement and tracking

The EMEA Community Affairs (CA) team is part of Communications & Branding and the UBS and Society programme. The team runs a professional and award-winning programme of corporate community investment which is embedded within the UBS business and aligned to the vision, values and culture of the firm. As such, it attracts considerable management support and engagement.
From London, the Community Affairs team manages Community Affairs activities across the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region. The Head of the EMEA CA team is also the Global Lead on CA, leading co-ordination and reporting on regional CA programmes.
There is a strong team ethos within the Community Affairs team, and the successful candidate will work with other team members to ensure delivery of a professional service.
Your experience and skills:
a university degree
experience of the corporate world and / or comms or event management experience
an interest in the Community Investment field
strong organisational and interpersonal skills
a clear understanding of social issues and the business rationale behind corporate community involvement
effective communication skills (written, verbal and presentation)
strong IT skills (especially PowerPoint and Microsoft Excel)
able to work effectively as part of a team and react quickly and positively to change
strongly focused on delivering agreed outcomes and objectives, meeting budgets and team expectations with a clear understanding of the importance of stakeholder expectations and risk mitigation
able to take responsibility for a wide range of issues and drive activity forward without constant supervision
able to set and meet challenging deadlines in a fast-paced and demanding environment
able to deal confidently with a wide range of stakeholders through good interpersonal and networking skills
practical, pragmatic and delivery-focussed
flexible team player
fluent in English
Experience of liaising with voluntary organisations and schools is also desirable.
