Are you a qualified Lawyer with experience in Data Management and Protection? Are you passionate about GDPR and its implication? We are looking for someone like that to:
Advise on legal interpretation of GDPR and other applicable data protection and privacy laws and regulations;
Provide legal support to the Group Data Protection Officer organization, including support for data subject access requests, purpose limitation and legality assessments, handling of data breaches and general advice
Engage and supervise external counsel, as required;
Refresh and maintain the rules for disclosure of UBS client data and employee data;
Respond to data transfer questions relating to E-discovery;
Advise on and support the roll-out of processes, policies and documentation to cover updates in relevant laws and regulations in EMEA that have an impact on data;

You will work in the The Data Management & Protection Legal team in EMEA, advising the UBS businesses in EMEA across the different business divisions in 18 EMEA jurisdictions.
Your experience and skills:
Qualified Lawyer with experience in Data Management & Protection with
Patient and meticulous with good analytical and project management skills
Able to assess and advise on complex risk as part of providing solution driven advice
Demonstrated experience in relation to in-house positions or reputable private practice firms
Strong commercial acumen and ability to provide strategic value add
\"Can do\" attitude and prepare to roll up the sleeves, when required
Excellent stakeholder management and relationship building skills
Ability to work independently and under compressed timeframe
