You’ll be working in a Krakow based team of 5-6 people that develops a suite of applications that comprise Securities Clearing & Settlement and Corporate Actions systems in Group Technology. The systems are the backbone of the bank, supporting the trade lifecycle in our Investment Bank. Members of this team work closely with their Operations team partners to provide global solutions for varied challenging business requirements. We use Scrum and apply Agile practices.
We value continuous learning and encourage attendance at Conferences (AceConf, PAM Summit, etc). There is also considerable formal and informal opportunity to learn financially how a bank works.
Your experience and skills:
–\texperience applying business analysis techniques (preferably in an Agile environment)
–\tthe ability to interpret a set of technical requirements and develop robust solutions
–\tan understanding of the software development lifecycle and Agile practices
–\tthe ability to describe requirements as User Stories and use Specification by Example
–\tstrong analytical and problem-solving skills
–\tthe capacity to come up with and present options when proposing solutions
–\tthe ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical people
–\tthe willingness to question and challenge priorities and requirements to ensure the team is delivering the most possible value
–\texperience managing risk on IT projects
–\tappreciation for testing at all levels, and readiness to assist during user acceptance testing phase
–\tpassionate about supporting the development of IT systems and applications
–\ttechnically savvy with an appreciation for IT capability
–\tadaptable, able to work across teams and functions
–\tproactive and adaptable, comfortable working in a dynamic environment with fast-paced deliveries and changing requirements
–\tfluent in English
