UBS Financial Services Demand Management Specialist in Kraków, Poland
Do you value partnership? Are you solid as a rock when you’re juggling a lot of tasks in parallel? Do you have strong analytical skills? We’re looking for a motivated candidate to support our Vendor and Category Management team for Consulting Services.
Your main task will be managing the Business Approval Process where Consulting demand requests have to be checked for completeness and pave the way to plan overall consulting requirement (internal and external) for UBS. All consulting demand requests must be reviewed to ensure consulting firms are driving value for UBS and thus this is an integral function to the overall consulting category management strategy. To further drive value the creation of reports and intelligent data it required for Senior Management on a frequent base. In addition you will support the VRM team in running different kind of consulting vendor related tasks reaching out to internal and external stakeholder:
–\tManage Business Approval Process and assure intelligent reporting
–\tRun a completeness check on each request and if needed follow up with the business
–\tEnter and maintain each request in the Golden source and assure each request status is up-to-date
–\tReach out to Account Manager (track if needed) to assess each request
–\tCoordinate the process infrastructure and ensure integrity
–\tMaintain a robust and auditable data archive
–\tCreate intelligent and refined reporting
–\tMaintain the intranet and align messaging to the organization
–\tSupport tool automation tasks and perform tests where needed
–\tProvide assurance for the Golden source
–\tAnalyze the Consulting requests for UBS globally to verify the funding source of each contract as well as its financial impact on the Operating Plan (OP)
–\tDrive meetings with the business to validate the analysis and obtain further information needed
–\tConsolidate the financial impact on OP of all the consulting requests live during a year by Business Division and Corporate Center Function, as well as at an overall level
–\tMap the overall financial impact of the consulting contracts against the OP by Business Division and Corporate Center Function
–\tDevelop a report to communicate the current spend status of the bank in the Consulting categories.
–\tPeriodic preparation of executive presentations to share the progress of the analysis
–\tSupport monthly based vendor communication
–\tMaintain a vendor issue log and where needed follow up on issue resolution
–\tProudly represent the companies good name inside and outside the organization

You will be working in the Category and Vendor Management Team for Consulting Services in Poland which handles the strategic, managerial and operational relationship with management consulting providers across UBS. The team is part of the Consulting Capability and Vendor Relations team within Project Management & Consulting (PMC), a dynamic, driven and diverse team of consulting and sourcing professionals. The PMC team is a newly established function set up to provide critical business projects execution, design capabilities and strategic sourcing services. The team is part of UBS' Corporate Development & Performance unit and supports all divisions and functions of the bank.
Your experience and skills:
–\tFinished your studies and got work experience in vendor management or compliance within the financial services industry.
–\tStrong analytical background, attention to detail along with structured organization and planning skills.
–\tThe ability to adapt and network across a global organization to work well with the team.
–\tAbility to work under pressure and to manage and deliver to deadlines.
–\tDemonstrated ability to effectively work with internal and external stakeholders, ability to organize and prioritize workloads.
–\tProficiency MS Office
–\tVery good understanding of Think Cell
–\tComfortable interacting with colleagues at all levels.
–\tEager to learn, highly driven and motivated with a can–do attitude.
–\tDetail orientated with structured, organized, methodical planning skills.
–\tFluent in English both written and spoken, other languages are a plus.
