UBS Financial Services TLCS PnL Specialist in Hyderabad, India
Supervise UK supporting teams and thehypothetical trade lifecycle control environment across FRC and Eq products, roughly 30 vendor staff. Role reports into the India Trade Lifecycle Lead
The role is responsible to manage the day to day BAU responsibilities of the UK supporting teams, consisting but not limited to of: pnl verification, lifecycle management, market data validation, new trade blotter verification, post trade reconciliations, position reporting, stock borrow loan support, EoD reporting
The role is also the first / second line escalation for their teams, providing the 'layer of management' between the vendor team and the onshore teams they are supporting
The successful candidate will be expected to partner with the vendor management staff and onshore management to execute the governance model via understanding current state of team, representing the team on risk based calls and proactively identifying and addressing any open risk events
The successful candidate will maintain accurate MIS used to track progress of the teams from a risk standpoint
This role requires daily interaction with Senior Middle Office staff in the UK in addition to senior trading, sales and business management staff. As a senior escalation point, candidate must be comfortable facing off to senior stakeholders in different circumstances
Conduct daily checks to ensure SOPs are followed and help create additional checks to further ensure governance and transparency for the team
Partner with Group IT to meet their SLA agreements
Mentor and guide the team and assist in training new hires
Ensure team members are cross-trained on all processes and eliminate key person dependency

Your experience and skills:
Graduate or post graduate, open to all concentrations / majors
Strong English written / verbal
Managerial experience / preferable manager of manager experience
Ability / willingness to face-off to the senior staff
Exposure to LEAN and WoW methodologies a plus. RPA experience a significant plus
Coach / mentor talent, provide avenue for career development
Willing to dive into the detail, work to understand the minutia of your teams responsibilities
Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to adapt to audience
Ability to drive agendas forward, project management experience a plus
Ability to influence others without direct management oversite
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Coordinate with multiple teams across the bank to collaborate to get desired resolutions
Previous experience in a BPO or transaction processing business would be preferable, with experience in interaction with overseas clients or customers on the phone Experience in:
P&L substantiation; or
Project Management or
-interacting with clients and agencies such as exchanges / senior operations staff and sales & trading
