understand the impact of regulatory requirements on UBS compensation policies and practices
change and adapt UBS's compensation structures to ensure compliance with German, regional and global remuneration regulations
coordinate and prepare remuneration disclosures for UBS entities in Germany and EMEA
prepare materials for UBS remuneration committees and boards across EMEA, particularly Germany
support the year-end reward process from a German and EMEA perspective, working in partnership with other teams across Reward and HR
support HR Business Partners and Recruiters on package offerings and other reward options as required

You’ll be working in the Global Regulatory Reward and UK/EMEA Reward team, split across London, Switzerland and Poland. Our role is to ensure we monitor, advise on and implement regulations that impact compensation at UBS on a global basis, as well as advise and provide reward support to line managers, employees and other human resources colleagues across all business divisions in the UK and EMEA. We help by giving advice on various regional reward products and policies.
Your experience and skills:
ideally a graduate degree
advanced Microsoft office skills, particularly Excel
a minimum of 3 years' experience in compensations and benefits (either in-house or in a multinational matrix environment)
an interest in remuneration regulations and the financial services industry (complexity doesn’t scare you)
Subject Matter Expertise on German reward regulatory issues
a strong team player who takes initiative (able to work under pressure in project and operational environment)
able to work cross divisionally and functionally within the firm
a multitasker, well organized and able to thrive when no two days are the same
not afraid of putting your hand up
able to explain complex concepts in simple terms
willing to grab an idea and shape it into a structured project
an excellent communicator, with good written and spoken German and English. Any other European languages are an advantage given the geography that the team supports
