work with the Deputy COO on development and implementation of the division’s technology, operations and data strategy
support internal communication on technology, operations and data strategy and other relevant topics
prepare decision making materials on a broad range of strategic, risk, regulatory or operations related topics
support in establishing and managing strategic plans of the product control and logistics function and the COO area in general
will be appointed secretary of the Middle Office Governance Forum, ensuring quorum at monthly meetings, taking minutes, creating and follow-up on action items and maintenance of dashboard
assist with HR activities including hiring, talent planning, succession planning and promotion cycles
drive annual strategic and financial planning process with Deputy COO
manage additional management and project committees

You will be part of the Chief Administrative Office within our Asset Management organization supporting the COO Global Product Control & Logistics business area, position based in Chicago, IL. This team provides administrative, analytical and strategic business support across various functions, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation while driving key initiatives forward and managing a broad portfolio of tasks.
Your experience and skills:
ability to deal with people and influence them to achieve objectives without strict top down direction setting
understanding of Asset Management as well as Hedge Fund / Alternative experience
strong numerical skills, attention to detail, accounting, CPA or finance experience preferred
ability to work independently and autonomously
ability to structure problems and synthesize complex topics into clearly understandable storylines
experience in preparing PowerPoint presentations (structuring rather than \"painting\" skills) and presentation materials
experienced in Business Management, Middle Office Operations and IT project management or dealing with complex projects is a plus
able to respond quickly as well as work under pressure
able to deal with potentially contentious issues effectively, understand personal sensitivities
