The GGC COO – Risk Management & Policies team is looking for someone to:
-\tcoordinate and draft the Legal quarterly reports to GEB, BoD and regulators
-\tassesses the Legal reporting landscape to drive consistency and simplification in Legal
-\tsupport in the operational risk processes of GGC and further develop the control framework of GGC
-\tsupport in tracking and ensuring closure of all audit and self-identified items of Group Legal
-\thelp embed Legal risk identification and assessment as part of the firm’s Operational Risk Framework
-\tparticipate or lead projects within the Risk Management & Policies team

You’ll be working in the GGC COO team in Zurich. The GGC COO is responsible for supporting the Group Legal organization to effectively deliver on its core services to the firm's business divisions. GGC COO focuses in particular on cost / financial management, Outside Counsel Management, risk management & reporting, delivering change for Group Legal, and providing business management and operations support services.
Your experience and skills:
-\ta university degree in law, finance or economics, with a strong understanding of risk management principles
-\tprior experience in the financial services or consulting industry (at least 5 years), ideally in Operational Risk, Legal, Compliance or Project Management
-\tStrong analytical, problem-solving skills, incl. understanding of UBS ORF 2.0
-\texcellent written and spoken English
-\tstrong project management skills
-\tan excellent communicator, with strong interpersonal skills
-\ta self-starter and able to work independently with a strong attention to detail
-\table to collaborate with all levels within the organization
-\table to manage deliverables within strict deadlines and co-ordinate with stakeholders (globally) to deliver clear and concise results
-\ta flexible, resilient team player with a positive can-do attitude
