In particular the Software Development Technical Domain, which consists of Artefact Repository Mgmt., SDK, Compilers & Debuggers, Database Development Tools, IDEs & Editors, Continuous Integration, Assembly & Packaging and Source Code Management:
develop strategies for the Software Technical Domain with a focus on Artefact Repository Mgmt., Continuous Integration and Source Code Management
conduct point of departure assessments to develop the required strategies and identify gaps
conduct requirements-gathering activities, like evaluating technologies or components in use, using a variety of internal and external data and conducting interviews
conduct tool evaluations to close identified, prioritized and accepted gaps to be closed
collaborate with the Enterprise Central Services Team, in particular the SPM function to execute proof of technologies, concepts and determine effort estimations
collaborate with the CTO aligned CFO and Business Operations Mgmt. to develop business cases
assist in audit finding remediation and project management
lead or assist in defining remediation and closing strategies for MLSIs related to the SDLC and TDM
build a trusted relationship with the federated, domain aligned Architecture Teams to sound proposals, determine participants for working groups

You’ll be working in the Group SDLC team in Weehawken, Zurich and London. Our role is to provide the framework for the major development methodologies of UBS. We are the CTO function for the major build chains in use for GT as well as for the entire SDLC related tooling related to the mandatory standard.
We own the technical domain model for Software Engineering, Software Development incl. Application Frameworks and Testing. The domain model defines roles and responsibilities. The IT Domain Architect defines the strategy and technology standards (target state), while the product manager owns roadmaps and directs execution.
Your experience and skills:
a master’s degree in computer science, computer information systems or related field of study
long-standing experience designing and building complex solutions
sound knowledge of development languages such as Java or C++ or .NET and HTML5
experienced with design patterns, optimizations and development approaches in general
familiar with Agile methodology, Scaled Agile Framework and Scrum/Kanban delivery approaches
an excellent communicator who can partner with technical experts, risk managers and executives
fluent in English
