The main responsibilities and tasks will include:
Closely follow developments in the global financial services industry
Develop and present M&A ideas to internal stakeholders
Perform complex financial analyses and modelling
Contribute to and partly lead M&A projects at group, divisional and regional levels
Collaborate with group and divisional strategy and business development teams
Prepare presentations and recommendations for internal stakeholders and decision makers
Manage and coach junior colleagues

Group M&A is part of the Corporate Development team which also includes Group Strategy. The Corporate Development team acts as an independent advisor to the BoD, the GEB, the Group CEO and CFO, and the CEOs of the divisions and regions. The team works in a cross-functional setup in close collaboration with the different business divisions, functions, and external parties to fulfil its role.
Your experience and skills:
-Several years of experience in investment banking or in a comparable corporate finance role with a focus on financial services sector
-Track record in working on M&A transactions
A focused individual with strong attention to details and ability to work on several projects
A good communicant with the ability to liaise at different levels within the organisation
