Your role:

Can you propose solutions as well as defining problems? Do you have strong analytical and management skills? We’re looking for someone like that who can:

  • support steady state business activities and adherence to the defined and agreed Product Taxonomy Operating Model

  • manage daily resolution of product classification exceptions and management reporting

  • Product Data Maintenance and ensuring integrity of the taxonomy data and meet the requirements of the Product Taxonomy data consumers

  • implementing functional enhancements to the Product Classification Service application as required to support consumer requirements and adhere to the PT Operating Model

  • testing of PTX code promotions for releases and business readiness testing

  • develop tactical tools to assist in process

The role is to build and manage steady state business activities and adherence to the defined and agreed Product Taxonomy Operating Model. You would have an opportunity to be part of a new and evolving global team to support the consumers and users of taxonomy information. This includes developing the business operating model to meet new and changing client and industry requirements. Responsibilities include driving system and business process change to streamline the BAU day-to-day processing and mitigate operational risk. The role provides in depth knowledge of IB products, the front-to-back system infrastructure and control function processes necessary to support the business.

Your team:

You'll be working in the Product Taxonomy team in Wroclaw, Poland. The Product Taxonomy project is a strategic initiative for the Investment Bank. The primary objective of the product taxonomy project is to deliver product taxonomy with a consistent level of granularity across product areas for consumption by Front Office and Control Functions. This will deliver a single data standard and product language, which supports cross functions control and reporting requirements.

The BAU function currently sits within Group Operations. We work closely with the product taxonomy project team responsible for the implementation of taxonomy across IB risk systems.

Your experience and skills:

You have:

-financial industry knowledge, in particular trade capture and exotic products

  • ability to work with end users across all control functions and IT

  • good presentation and communication skills

  • proficiency in Microsoft Office suite; in particular PowerPoint and Excel

  • equity Derivatives MO experience

You are:

  • ready to work in a fast paced and changing environment and cope with changing deadlines

  • extremely detail oriented, analytical and strong organizational and follow through skills
