Your role:

Looking for an qualified accountant (CPA preferred) with 10+ years experiences to assist in managing UBS Financial Advisor loan programs covering both Run the Bank and Change the Bank perspectives. Roles and responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Account for various loan programs, including principal, anniversary, prepaid, collection, reserve and write off

  • Assisting in the build out of the loan IT GL automation solution

  • Perform monthly reconciliation and assist with investigation and resolution of the loan breaks; prepare and post manual adjustment when necessary

  • Understand regulatory requirement to deliver accurate and complete FA loan information to relevant regulators

  • Understand key and critical system processes associated with FA loans and work collaboratively with various stakeholders to address operational issues

  • Build controls over key loan processes to enhance the governance framework

  • Be able to close the ledger within the defined UBS closing instruction and provide appropriate balance sheet substantiation

You will be part of the IMOFC WMA Compensation Service Delivery function in Americas. You will support WMA business focus on recruiting and retention loan programs. You will be part of the team that accounts for all aspects of loan programs each month, adhere to closing instruction. You will also participate in many business discussions associated with loan programs.

Your experience and skills:

You have:

– 10+ years of experience Financial Service industry (CAP preferred)

– Extensive experience of Compensation accounting involve loans for large organization

– Ability to interpret regulatory requirement and implement changes where required

– Able to work with internal/ external stakeholders and drive timeline and deliver results

– Willingness and capability to build a solid control environment

– Strong Microsoft skills including excel, words and PowerPoints

You are:

– able to multitask and work independently

– an excellent communicator, both verbal and written

– attentive to detail, strong team player and keen to take initiative with solution oriented thinking
