-advise the Divisional HR Team and specific business partners in relevant aspects of compensation practices and pay management.

-lead the WMA Compensation team and develop them to ensure sustained career growth and professional development for all team members, by supporting a collaborative environment that recognizes individual skill sets, fosters cross-functional initiatives and addresses developmental needs

-proactively engage with other HR functions and finance to ensure appropriate awareness and understanding of the broader Compensation agenda

-support the business in the preparation of offers to external hires and successful promotion candidates, making recommendations to HRBPs and line managers

-co-operate closely with WMA Reward Manager to support quantitative and qualitative decision making in pool allocations

-participate in the design and implementation of Reward strategies and guidelines

-participate in the design and annual review of compensation plans for specialist pay programs such as field management, product specialist and sales support staff

Your team:

You'll be working in the Wealth Management Americas Reward team in Weehawken, NJ. This team designs and delivers compensation programs which reflect business needs and competitive market context in line with regulatory and governance requirements. The WMA team manages discretionary incentive compensation plans as well as incentive programs for Field Management and Product Specialist roles. The WMA Reward team is part of the global Reward team which supports employee motivation, engagement, and retention for UBS in over 50 countries across a range of diverse businesses such as Wealth Management, Asset Management and Investment Banking.

You have:

• a proven track record of advancement, leadership and business success, with extensive experience in compensation and benefits in corporate and / or consulting capacities

• 5+ years of reward experience, preferably in a financial services or a consulting setting

• strong functional and technical knowledge of general compensation practices

• advanced skills in any of the current analytical tools including but not limited to Microsoft excel

• bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study.

• an outstanding communicator, with strong presentation and negotiation skills
