UBS Financial Services CCAR Effective Review & Challenge in Weehawken, New Jersey

Your role:

Are you passionate about developing technology solutions that improve efficiency and streamline processes? Are you a risk manager with a broad understanding of the capital planning process and stress testing?

We're looking for someone who can:

  • develop web based technology solutions to perform sensitivity analysis of model assumptions, macro-economic indicators utilized in the capital planning process

  • develop a technology solution that tracks the review and challenge that occurs during the capital planning process

  • carry-out capital analyses, inclusive of macro indicators, PPNR and risk loss measures which calculations he/she will need to be able to decompose to assess forecast approaches and business rationale for consistency and reasonableness

  • ensure models / scenario outputs have been validated using analytics and industry data (by developing adequate processes and models where necessary)

  • review the CCAR and ICAAP documentation and execute of in-person assessments of the effective implementation of processes and governance

  • perform historical and peer analyses

  • report finding to Senior Management teams and governance committees (including ALCO) and formulate recommendations

Your team:

The Effective Review & Challenge (ERC) team is a newly formed team operating under the Americas Deputy CFO and head of the CCAR program. The team is a part of CCAR central team and works alongside the regional treasury team, risk control and other key oversight functions such as model validation and internal audit.

Your experience and skills:

You have:

  • a university degree in engineering, finance, economics, business administration or a numerical discipline

  • web development technology skills such as, front end (HTML, CSS, Javascript etc.), back end technologies (Python, Java, C etc.) along with RDBMS

  • exposure to or detailed knowledge of significant regulatory rules/initiatives and the development of programs to address significant regulatory rule/initiatives compliance; CCAR knowledge is preferred.

  • several years of experience in the financial or technology services industry

  • knowledge of financial products and services offered by investment banks
