UBS Financial Services Facilities Manager in St. Helier, United Kingdom

Your role:

Are you an innovative and talented Facilities Manager with experience of running a 200 + employee office?

UBS Jersey Branch is seeking an Facilities Manager lead to deliver and maintain its facilities function across a floor and a half of prime office real estate located in the International Financial Centre in St Helier Jersey.

An excellent opportunity to manage and control the Group Corporate Services business function for UBS Jersey which includes property management, space planning, office moves and related corporate services, contract management, environmental issues & project management within the GCS area and for the location.

Liaise with property manager BNP including invoice control and approval, arrangement of monthly routine property maintenance including safety systems in 1 IFC & at the DR Site.

Strive to enhance processes and procedures to improve quality and efficiency by implementing change and improvements.

Manage direct reports including performance management, training, objective setting and evaluations.

Manage and control business risks for own area of responsibility, completing of monthly Control Plans.

Invoice approval via OPTIMA following local signing authority guidelines.

Your team:

You will be working at UBS in the Group Corporate Services team responsible for services across the North Eastern Europe Middle East and African Region. The local Jersey support team of four comprises local GCS services and you will be reporting directly to the Regional Head of Relationship Management for GCS based in London and also have a line into a local support manager from the front office. The Regional GCS team has SMEs in Real Estate, Construction, Facilities Management, Travel Management, Cost Management and you will have the opportunity to work with all the teams whom possess a significant technical level of experience.

Your experience and skills:

You have:

– Excellent people skills

– Strong business presentation skills

– Solid data skills (Excel, Word PPT SQL

– Prior experience of working as an Facilities Manager is a plus but not necessarily required

– A self-motivated person who is a dedicated to a high quality services provision.
