•\tmanaging all aspects of the Business and Operational Risk for investment funds, including performance of oversight controls related to Central Administration and Custodian services i.e. investment guidelines compliance, client complaints, etc.
•\thandling of inquiries received by delegated service providers
•\tperforming assessments on regulatory changes related to investment funds
•\tembedding compliance and risk awareness by designing and operating an effective control environment, proactively identifying and raising control deficiencies and driving diligent and sustainable risk remediation
•\tproviding stakeholders with transparent, accurate and regular information regarding results on risk assessments

You will report to the Head of Regulatory and Quality Monitoring, working with the Quality Monitoring team to provide oversight on the Central Administrator and Custodian. The team forms part of the Management Company Oversight function for UBS Fund Management (Switzerland) AG in Basel, undertaking oversight of delegated services, product risk management and monitoring of regulatory changes in the fund industry.
Your experience and skills:
•\tAn academic background in finance, business administration or economics.
•\tProven experience of fund industry and institutional financial markets.
•\tA wide awareness and knowledge of national and international industry wide risk related initiatives and structures (e.g., Finfrag, EMIR, Swiss CISA, CISO and Swiss BVG).
•\tDeep knowledge of Central Administration and Custodian services
•\tStrong analytical skills.
•\tDemonstrated ability to be flexible, versatile and manage multiple concurrent priorities and projects.
•\tExperience interacting with knowledgeable and demanding audiences at all levels of management.
•\tExcellent written skills and the ability to succinctly convey information to senior management and other stakeholders.
•\tA true team player, able to project ideas and run initiatives.
•\tA clear and reliable communicator across all spectrums of a complex matrix.
•\tProactive and innovative.
